摘要
An algorithm is developed for computation of maximum possible efficiency of a passive beam-forming network of a multi-beam array antenna with a frequency-independent system of beams. The algorithm also enables one to obtain the scattering matrix of a feeder network with optimum efficiency at any frequency within the operating frequency range. Design graphs are given of the frequency variation of potential efficiency of beam-forming networks of linear array antennas in which the number of elements is equal to the number of beams.
