Dielectric characterisation of SBN single-crystal fibers and non-doped and La doped ceramics

摘要
Dielectric permittivity as function of frequency and temperature of the Sr0.61Ba0.39Nb2O6 single-crystal fiber and ceramic samples are presented. Ceramic samples of the same composition, doped in weight with lanthanum oxide also are studied. The results show the existence of three regions of the dielectric relaxation in distinct ranges of temperature for all studied samples. These relaxation processes are related to structural and incommensurate phase transitions in this system. La doping apparently does not influence the relaxation processes.
