摘要
A new Petri net object-oriented performance modeling tool termed as Modeling Assisted Software Environment (MASE) is proposed. It is a hierarchical and object-oriented package and provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) environment for the creation, modification, analysis of the modeled system. MASE Language (MASEL) developed in accordance with MASE enhances the modeling power of classical Petri net which has limited components. The proposed tool offers both analytical and simulation solution methods. The underlying net is Hierarchical Object-Oriented Petri Nets (MASEHOOPN), which is defined along with this package. Substitution Place for the hierarchical model is done by the proposed [Socket Transition]-[Port Place] interface (ST-PP). The future extension supports other extended models is underway.
