摘要：

The specific atmospheric contamination of one hundred soldering stations in five different factories was determined. Its effect on the health of the women solderers was recorded in accordance with the matched pairs method in an industrial medicine investigation. Workplace contamination can be reduced by a careful choice of working materials. In current working conditions, no health risk indicating an occupational disease caused by soldering work in the electrical industry could be determined.
