摘要
An analysis is made of the technology of alumina production according to the Bayer, Bayer-sintering and sintering methods using bauxites and according to the sintering method using nephelines. Comparative data on the main consumption factors and the alumina quality are presented. It is shown that in the case of high-silicon aluminum raw material the most promising method of processing is the hydrochemical method. Comparative technical and economic indices for this method when applied to nepheline raw material are presented.
