摘要：
Some considerations on the design of an electromagnetic stirring system as well as results of modeling studied are presented. It is shown that for the selected arrangement with asymmetrical feeding of a traveling field stirrer in comparison with conventionally operated systems, an increase in the amount of non-dendritic solidificaiton was obtained.
