Transfer equations are obtained and analyzed for the mean field less than E greater than and the spatial coherence function GAMMA SIGMA ( rho ) of the field of a wave which has passed through a medium with greatly extended irregularities. It is shown that, because of transverse displacement and the finite group velocity of the wave (at beta eta VM GT TH 1, where beta equals v/c, with v being the irregularity drift velocity, and eta equals l// parallel /l// PERPEND the elongation of the irregularities) exit of a ray from an irregularity leads to significantly slower attenuation of less than E greater than and the appearance of asymmetry in the function GAMMA SIGMA ( rho ).
