On the basis of the balance equation of joint probability distribution density of temperature, boron particle radius and oxide film thickness, a model of turbulent flame propagation in a boron-air medium is developed. The model takes into account the kinetic and diffusional mechanisms of components reaction, polydispersed particle size distribution and conductive and radiant heat exchanges between the fresh air-suspension and combustion products. Flame propagation in mono- and polydispersed systems is studied using this model.
