This is a technological and economic review of the PVC pipe applications. The 1974 PVC pipe markets was over one billion pounds, with pressure pipe at the lead (448 million). Other markets were as follow - telephone conduit (155 million; drain waste and vent (119 million); electrical conduit (118 million); sewer and drain (107 million); and irrigation (98 million).
