Determination of energy of electron beam generated by electrostatic accelerator through measurement of attenuation

摘要
Two transmission ionization chambers with parallel and small thickness plates were developed to measure the transmitted distribution of electron beam in aluminum generated by electrostatic accelerator. The ranges of electron beam in aluminum under different accelerating voltages were extrapolated from the distribution curves, then the energies of electron beam can be calculated.
