摘要
The effect of mass transfer (i. e. , injection into or suction from the boundary layer) on heat transfer and frictional drag of an isothermal cylinder in cross flow of water with constant or variable thermophysical properties is numerically investigated. It is shown that the mass transfer and correction for the temperature dependence of the thermophysical properties affect significantly the frictional drag and the heat transfer coefficient.
