摘要
A non-orthogonal curvilinear system of coordinates was chosen on the hull surface and boundary layer calculations have been made using the Myring-Smith method. A specific example, the ship OREMINA forebody, has been taken and the results compared with experiment and Gadd's calculations. The calculations were in qualitative agreement only with experiment because of the dubious validity of the present solutions of the boundary layer equations and the 'flat plate' starting conditions near the bow.
