The results of an analytic study of heat and mass transfer in laminar film absorption, with heat release at the phase interface, from a single-component gas and also from a mixture containing nonabsorbable impurities, are presented. An approximate solution of the problem of film absorption from a mixture containing nonabsorbable impurities is obtained.
