摘要
To solve problems with the conventional simple ladle refining processes, Kawasaki Steel developed a new simple ladle refining process called the pulsating mixing (PM) process, which, excepting the function of vacuum refining, has the same functions as the vacuum degassing processes such as the RH and DH processes. Furthermore, in both treatment costs and the equipment costs, the PM process is far lower than those of the vacuum degassing processes. This paper described the features and advantages of PM process.
