摘要
Electronic operator interface panels (OIPs) can maximize the efficiency of the machine control panel displays. An increasing number of machine operators deemed OIPs as economical and more effective in plant-floor processes. CRT-based OIPs can function easily with programmable controllers and are not easily damaged by dirt and oil once mounted in NEMA 4 and NEMA 12 enclosures. Visual recognition is one consideration in selecting OIPs. Monochrome screen provide vast information while use of standard color can facilitate the display of screen messages. OIPs are available in full size CRT or flat panel devices to cater to the quick interaction needed between operator and control station. OIPs are the practical substitute to hard-wired control panel devices in advancing factory-automated control.
