ELECTRONIC CONTROL FOR DIESEL ENGINE.

In this paper some of achievements resulting from the adoption of an electronic control system to a six cylinder, V-ee diesel engine are presented. Main construction features of mechanical, electrohydraulic, and electronic subsystems are discussed. The introduction of these new subsystems did allow for the dismissal of some mechanical devices used till now for the engine control. Detail description of digital controller structure, and its operational algorithm, also possibilities of construction optimization of the electronic and electrohydraulic subsystems, are provided. The digital model tests description, with particular stress on the proper diesel engine model selection, are also given.
