摘要
The existence of continuous switching-off characteristics of circuit breakers is dealt with. The extreme switching-off currents are determined for the given switching-off characteristics of the circuit breaker and for the grid parameters in case of close short circuits from the point of view of the interaction interval and of the dielectric interval in the region of the initial increase of the recovered voltage. The use of the knowledge of the continuous characteristics of the circuit breakers for their development and operation is discussed.
