摘要：

This report describes the progress towards a new standard dustiness test made at the Warren Spring Laboratory. The most important feature of the test is the use of polyurethane foam to separate the dust given off in the test into the health related size fractions defined recently by an ISO-CEN working group. The work shows that with adequate controls meaningful results can be obtained from the test.
