Photoacoustic spectroscopy and trace gas analysis using a pulsed PPLN optical parametric oscillator

摘要
An all-solid-state tunable optical parametric oscillator (OPO) based on periodically-poled lithium niobate as the nonlinear medium has been developed. In this OPO, a linewidth of 0.3 cm-1 and a power conversion efficiency of 46%, have been achieved. To extend the use of this system for trace-gas analysis, improvements are being made to the laser linewidth and the photoacoustic cell design.
