摘要
The distributed control system (DCS) for the Midland Cogeneration Venture (MCV) facility was provided by the Westinghouse Process Control Division. The DCS performs the control functions, man machine interface, and basic data acquisition for the plant. In addition, a sophisticated set of software packages was provided to monitor and optimize the overall plant performance. By employing on-line optimization the plant can meet the demands for process steam and export power while operating in an optimum manner.
