INVESTIGATION OF INTEGRATED-OPTICS LUNEBERG LENSES MADE BY LASER EVAPORATION.

An analysis is made of the design of generalized Luneberg lenses, and a method of preparing them by laser evaporation is presented. The results are reported of a numerical calculation of the profile of the thickness of a Luneberg lens. Consideration is given to the possibility of fine correction of the parameters of Luneberg lenses by exposing them through a special mask to an He-Ne laser beam.
