摘要
The purpose of this paper is to solve the problem of the flow formation in Couette motion when one of the plates starts moving from the time t equals 0 at a time-varying velocity proportional to t**n e**a**t. The flow phenomenon has been characterized by the parameters M (magnetic number), S (suction parameter), and a//0 (a constant); the effect of these parameters on the velocity distribution and the skin-friction at the plates has been studied. The basic equations have been solved by using the method of the Laplace transform.
