Building a recovered paper mountain

The Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI) and the European Recovered Paper Association (ERPA) joined forces to boost paper recycling in Europe. The European Declaration of Paper Recovery aimed at a 56% increase in level of paper recycling in Europe by the year 2005. The declaration also aimed at reducing waste during all processes in the paper and board life cycle, improving efficient use of raw materials and optimizing collection systems by sharing expertise with those responsible for collecting recovered paper.
