摘要
Recent improvements are reported in l. e. d. materials and manufacturing techniques, resulting in high brightness of l. e. d. displays which permits them to be read at very high levels of ambient lighting (10**5 lux) and to meet military specifications. These displays can be used as replacement for filament displays in equipment now installed and the method of conversion is described in this article.
