A study is made of the relationship of the time for inspection to the size of a leak (characterized by the flow F of air passing through the leak with a certain drop in pressure) and to the pressure of the kerosene. The experiment was made on samples of D16T metal slit capillaries in the range of flows of 4 multiplied by (times) 10** minus **3 to 2. 7 multiplied by 10** minus **6 m**3. Pa/sec (30 to 2 multiplied by (times) 10** minus **2 liter. mu /sec). The tests on the samples were made without an excess pressure of kerosene and with differences of 20,000 and 60,000 Pa.
