This article deals with a 150-million project involving a six-mile long precast concrete pipeline support trestle, supported by prestressed concrete cylinder piles, which will make it possible for large tankers to load liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) two miles out in the Arabian Gulf. Massive logistics were required to bring together all materials and manpower for building this important project at Ju'Aymah, Saudi Arabia. The trestle will be constructed in water up to 85 ft deep.
