The paper presents the solution of the plane horizontal filtration problem mentioned in the title. The presented considerations yield in effect formulas defining the piezometric height at a given point adjacent to the well inflow through a given segment of the well contour and the total inflow into the well. Additionally, the problem of determination of the operational range of the well is discussed. The solution presented in this paper may be used immediately for the design and computation of the intakes of underground water.
