摘要
A technical outline of the development of fuel cell railway vehicles is discussed. These vehicles effectively reduce the CO2 emission as a post-fossil fuel. They are considered to be most promising alternative concept in the future. Fuel cell vehicles may create a new low-cost railway system that doesn't need electrification unlike the present electric vehicles.
