Results of laboratory studies on the effect of temperature on surface oxygen transfer are presented. The measured K//2 values are calculated based on the DO response curves while predicted K//L or K//2 values are calculated using the equation proposed by D. J. O'Connor and W. E. Dobbins for the experimental conditions. Both the measured and the predicted K//2 values indicate that an increasing K//2-temperature relationship is observed when the flow velocity is maintained at 2. 8 cm/s. Using the same reaeration equipment and methodology, and with the flow velocity reduced to 1. 3 cm/s, the K//2-temperature displays a decreasing tendency with increasing temperature.
