Theoretical and experimental investigation of triple resonances of four circular plates torsional vibration system

摘要
A mathematical model of four circular plates torsional vibration of the shafting system which has quadratic nonlinearities and harmonic excitation is established. By using the improved averaging method for nonlinear oscillation, under the conditions ω3 approximately equals 2ω2, ω2 approximately equals 2ω1, and Ω approximately equals ω1, the first approximation solution and its corresponding steady-state solution of the triple resonances are obtained. Two kinds of main response curves are confirmed experimentally. The results of theoretical analysis are shown to be in good agreement with experimental results.
