Various irrigation variants were tested under greenhouse conditions. Watering was carried out to a soil-moisture capillary pressure of minus 0. 2 or minus 0. 5 atm, using an automatic electrical apparatus consisting of a water-pressure sensor (tensiometer), an electromagnetic relay, and a pulsed watering device.
