New Drive Techniques for ac Traction Vehicles.

摘要
Based on the advantages of using current rectifiers in electric traction, various drive versions and their functional characteristics are analyzed. The mixed-current technology uses threshold-controlled thyristor rectifierrs and commutator motors. A switching asymmetrical bridge circuit improves the power factor. ac drives make possible the introduction of commutator-free asynchronous motor.
