Design Considerations for a Large Two-Way Cable-Television System.

Several methods are described for dealing with the extension of cable-television distribution systems to include the possibility of reverse communication from the subscribers' installations. The various technical possibilities are examined with regard to costs. Experience gained with installations in service in the United States is reported, and the elimination of initial difficulties is indicated.
