摘要
From the logarithmic type of equation for mean velocity of flow, a general exponential type of formula, akin to Manning's formula, but dimensionally homogeneous has been developed. To facilitate the use of this formula over a wide range of flow conditions, the values of certain coefficients to be adopted for different values of the ratio of hydraulic mean radius to height of roughness projections have been evaluated analytically and compared with values of the coefficients given by other authors.
