摘要
The software development can be divided into separate phases. The results of each phase should be checked in order to reduce the errors. The tests at different phases of the software development can improve the global quality and can reduce the cost of maintenance. The validation of the results and the range of coverage of the software depend on the choice of the tests. This paper presents the different sources of errors appearing in the application of the engineering software based on Finite Elements. The test validation of the software and the techniques used for evaluation of test coverage are discussed.
