The medical physics definition as a complex of biophysics and applied physics sections dealing with the physical laws, phenomena, processes and characteristics conformably to medical problem solution was given. The medical physics considered the physical methods of diagnosis, the therapeutic effect of physical factors on organism, the medical material physical properties, the physical properties and characteristics of environment, etc. The scientific personnel (physicists and engineers) dealing with physical problems in medicine were related to medical physicists. The brief characteristics of the based of medical physics teaching were presented.
