System of secondary standards for photon dosimetry

A system was developed of metrological support of dosimetric measurements of photon radiation based on the national primary standard of the exposure dose unit, the exposure dose rate, and the photon radiation energy flux, and an extensive system of secondary working standards. Territorial agencies of the Gosstandart and departmental metrological services have access to a system of secondary standards of exposure dose rate units of both x-ray and gamma radiation or of gamma radiation only.
