TYPE 700 LOADING COIL CASES.

The evolution of a new line of cases employing plastic case construction and plastic sheathed stubbing cable is reported. The new Type 700 cases utilize such significantly different manufacturing concepts that very little similarity can be seen between them and any of the previously manufactured cases. The primary reasons behind the development of these cases were manufacturing standardization and weight reduction but concentrated efforts were also put into the development to reduce manufacturing costs and improve overall quality.
