摘要
The rolling conditions guaranteeing the mechanical properties specified in GOST 17066-80 are developed with consideration of power and force limits and introduced from analysis of the experimental data for the rolling of thin low-alloy steel strip on the NLMK 2000 wide strip mill. It was established that down to 2 mm thick 09G2, 09G2S, 10G2S1, and 12GS steels can be rolled below the limits of the permissible power and force values by increasing the roughing capacity of the mill through the use of reversing on the first stand of the roughing train. This thin material can be used to replace the thicker St9ps steel with lower mechanical properties used in mechanical engineering and the construction industry.
