摘要
The laser-photometric sorting of ores is based on the differentiation of light reflectance characteristics displayed by the various mineral constituents of ores. The design criteria for laser-photometric sorting machines are discussed, with particular reference to the requirements of the minerals processing industry for rugged and reliable equipment. The development of the Model 16 Photometric Sorter based on cited principles is outlined and the operation of this machine is described.
