The Secor (Secim Continuous Rod) plant was commissioned in December 1977 at Copper Refineries Pty. Ltd. , Townsville, Queensland, Australia. Advances by the technique are low capital and labor costs, reduced floor space, reduced operator hazard, and the benefits of the RER rolling method.
