摘要
A simulation program for a two-stage turbocharged diesel engine with a low compression ratio is described. This paper deals with the principal information which has led to the development of a simulation program for a propulsive device composed of a powerful diesel engine and a two-stage turbocharger. Thanks to this program, the characteristic parameters can be known for a wide range of operating points. To calculate them, a model is proposed based on a formulation of the heat release by means of two formulas of Wiebe, on a 'filling and emptying' model, on the use of compressors and turbine characteristics. The calculations made on a Microvax computer give the limit of use of the propulsive device.
