摘要：
A new scaling method that leads to the restoration of the membership function in fuzzy image recognition problems is introduced. For purposes of illustration, a multidimensional nonparametric scaling problem which is essentially a problem of restoring the membership set is formulated. The formulated problem is solved by using two procedures denoted as NS-1 and NS-2.
