Using the induction plant control as an example, consideration is given to the following standardized decisions: 1) an increase in the reliability and safety of induction crucible furnaces; 2) the power supply integration in the course of automation; 3) the combination of melting and storing in a single furnace; 4) safety control of the process by the induction channel furnace processor; 5) melting level control. The effect of rapid automation progress on the development of high-efficient furnaces is noted.
