New South Wales and Victoria, the two states of Australia, have deregulated their electric distribution industry. The distribution companies operating on small margins are coming up with all sorts of gimmicks to disguise the price hikes. Most companies are playing their cards when it comes to announcing blanket deals under deregulation.
