摘要：
The work reported is concerned specifically with the nondestructive examination for cracks of two extended layers of electrically conducting materials - such as austenitic cladding on ferritic steel, or austenitic heat exchanger tubing - using eddy current probe coils externally and internally, respectively. The results of a mathematical analysis of the problems of the probe coils are reported.
