摘要：
A conceptual design is described of a pilot scale MHD/steam power plant referred to as the Engineering Test Facility (ETF). Important design features and operating parameters of the complete plant and of major components and subsystems are discussed. Initial results are presented from a parametric study of early commercial MHD plants, for which the ETF is intended to provide a technological base.
