The software compensation technique of positioning errors for CNC machine tools

摘要
A new method of positioning error compensation realized by the software for CNC machine tools equipped with Huazhong type I CNC system is proposed in this paper. The method can overcome the shortcoming of the equal distant target position compensation technique for CNC machine tools' positioning errors, and its compensation positions are generated randomly. The mathematical model for positioning error compensation of CNC machine tools is derived. The results of the experiments on XK713 machining center shows that the positioning accuracy is enhanced effectively by more than 70%.
