The negative divergence of Pointing's vector in moving bodies is equal not only to the increase of energy of the electromagnetic field and thermal dissipation (referred to a volume unit) but also to the divergence of Umov's vector (its generation). This characterizes electromechanical energy conversion that takes place in electric machines. Joint consideration of the two vectors is not encountered in literature. Such an analysis is applied in the article to electric machines with hysteresis rotors. The appropriate equations of electrodynamics and of the theory of elasticity are applied to a rotating rotor.
