METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING OF THE STRUCTURES OF PERMANENT MAGNETS.

A method and equipment are described for the nondestructive testing of the phase composition of alloys of the AlNiCuCoTi type, used in the manufacture of permanent magnets. The method is based on magnetic phase analysis of the alloys. The equipment has been developed on the basis of integrated circuits and enables the testing to be carried out automatically. The method and the equipment are easily introduced into existing manufacturing processes without causing complications, enabling any rejects to be found at the initial stage of manufacture.
